“I was diagnosed with erectile dysfunction in 1998 and was prescribed the drug, Viagra, by my doctor for a problem that I had been struggling with over the years,” said Dr. William T. LeMay. LeMay, who treats men with erectile dysfunction, also began treating men with the drug in the late 1980s. “I was doing very well, but I began feeling quite ill. I had to go to the hospital because I had an infection that was coming back in my lower back. That was when I was getting treatment for an infection.”
LeMay is now in his 70s and has been prescribed Viagra by his doctor for the treatment of ED. In fact, his doctor has prescribed it for Viagra for men with erectile dysfunction. He told theNews & Worldthat he has no problem with the drug, but said he has not seen any studies of it in patients with ED. LeMay said he would not take Viagra if he had the infection, but would use it if the symptoms were bad enough to require a doctor’s visit. In his 40s, he has not taken it since his last visit to the hospital.
“I was going to try the pill and then see if it worked,” he said. “But the doctor told me I need to get a physical, and that I should try it.”
The doctor was not surprised. He said he has seen no studies that prove Viagra has been effective in treating ED. LeMay said Viagra works by blocking the action of certain chemicals in the body that cause erections, but that the effects of the drug can take time to be felt, and could take several months to a year to become clear. He also said he thinks Viagra has not worked for him, and that he needs to see a physician.
Dr. Robert S. Hegseth, who treated LeMay for ED, said he and his staff are glad to hear that the new Viagra treatment has worked. He said it may not work for him, as it does not work in the absence of other medications. “The treatment is not a big improvement,” he said. “But if it’s not working, I’ll have to see a doctor.”
The University of Alabama at Birmingham has a clinical research center and the laboratory of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The laboratory is the laboratory of the Alabama Medical Research Institute. LeMay said he has done some research on the use of Viagra in the treatment of ED and how that has changed the patient’s life. He said his lab has studied Viagra’s effects on ED in men and had seen no studies that prove it is effective in treating ED. The research was done at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, but the laboratory was not involved in the research and said that the research was done at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
The University of Alabama at Birmingham said in a statement that it is in a “proactive relationship” with the University of Alabama. In a statement to the, LeMay said the laboratory will continue to work with the University of Alabama at Birmingham “to provide the highest standard of care to physicians and patients who have the right conditions to treat erectile dysfunction.”
He also said the laboratory is looking at other factors to consider when prescribing Viagra, including cost and the quality of the drug. “The cost of Viagra is an issue for many patients and is something that we need to discuss,” he said.
David L. Rother, a professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a researcher at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, said he did not know of any studies that found Viagra is effective in treating ED. He said the research is ongoing and he is hopeful that the university will continue to use its research to continue to treat ED. “I would say that it’s still a possibility that we will continue to use Viagra in future studies,” he said. “The way it is now is that the University of Alabama at Birmingham is working with the University of Alabama at Birmingham,” he added.
The University of Alabama at Birmingham is still in a long-term relationship with the University of Alabama at Birmingham, according to LeMay.
